TIMOTHY CIBOR
Artistic Director and Conductor

Timothy Cibor is husband to Sara and father to Catherine. He is also the Director of Bands and Assistant Director of Orchestras at Birmingham Seaholm High School. Under his leadership, the program has performed in London, Honolulu, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Orlando, Memphis, and New York City.
Tim has been a guest conductor for the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, Oakland Youth Philharmonia, and the Birmingham Concert Band. Recently, Tim was hired by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to conduct the Civic Concert Orchestra. Tim has also served on faculty at the Interlochen Arts Camp.
Tim earned undergraduate degrees at Wayne State University and a M.M. at the University of Michigan. In his free time he enjoys yoga, golf, working on his house, and spending time with his family.
JOSEPH DELLER
Assistant Conductor, Concert Orchestra Conductor

Joseph Deller is a native of Dearborn, MI and participated in the DYS as a junior high and high school student. He received his bachelor's degree from Hope College in Violin Performance in 2003 and since has been a freelance musician in the metro Detroit area, playing with such groups as the Dearborn Symphony, Plymouth/Canton Orchestras, Adrian Symphony, and Flint Symphony.
He is part of a traveling musical group called the Troubadours out of the Flint Institute of Music that brings a new, exciting, and educational message to over 110 elementary schools in Genesee County each year.
Joe also has an active violin/viola studio and enjoys playing and coaching chamber music. He is thrilled to be a part of the DYS and is looking forward to the wonderful journey!
OLIVIA ZANG
String Orchestra Conductor
Olivia Zang, a Wyandotte native, has been studying music for seventeen years. She is a graduate of Wayne State University with a bachelor’s degree in instrumental music education.
Olivia loves to share music with others and has been an instructor for the Wyandotte Summer Music program for four years and a former String Project@Wayne violin teacher and conductor for three years. She also maintains a large private studio of violin and piano students in her home and with A&R music.
As a DYS alumnus, Olivia is excited and honored to rejoin DYS as one of its newest representatives.
DONNA OLKOWSKI
Flute Choirs Conductor
Donna Olkowski received bachelors and masters degrees in music from the University of Michigan. After 14 years of experience directing grade school through high school band programs, she now has a private studio of 40 flute students.
Donna is second flute for the Dearborn Symphony.
